All Star Cricket: For Primary and Secondary School, this exciting club can be delivered within a Pre or After School format or within the curriculum day. Our lead coaches are Stefan Holmes who is a member of the Lancashire, England and British Lions Disability Team, Stefan was voted Disability Player of the Year 2017, 2015 and Mark Holmes, a former play, who has won the north west cricket coach under 11s and a fully qualified coach and umpire. All students will be given an easily accessible and understandable insight into the world of cricket, Stefan and Mark will demonstrate a holistic approach when teaching, training and playing. The aims of the “All Star Cricket “ are :
(1) To understand the rules and principles of cricket.
(2) Cricket catching and throwing co-ordination.
(3) Skills in learning how to bowl
(4) Skills in learning how to bat
(5) Skills in fielding drills from Bronze to Gold awards
(6) Diamond cricket
(7) How to play the small game
(8) Learning vital skills within cricket
(9) Identify children with potential to County and National level
(10) To improve aspects of physical, social and emotional health
 Each students on completion will receive a signed certificate confirming they have trained and completed the course and a medal of attendance. We will end with a short game of small cricket and the winners will be presented with the “All Stars Cricket Cup” which will be the schools to keep.
