1. General one-to-one or small group reading and maths practice
    Read with identified children to achieve specific progress targets but with a general emphasis on fluency, vocabulary and comprehension. Work with individuals or small grounds, as directed, to develop maths skills and support teacher instruction
  2. Check-in, check-out coaching, and ongoing support throughout the week, with an emphasis on academic achievement. Check in with identified students on a Monday and check out on a Thursday (in addition to other informal touch points during the week) to work through specific challenges (either developmental or motivational) to making good academic progress
  3. Homework and study club Encourage students to stay behind after lessons and complete their homework or project work in a fun but constructive environment
  1. Library engagement Encourage students to use the library and borrow books to read for pleasure
