I am a freelance Artist Educator with a Ba (Hons) degree in Fashion Textiles and a PGCE in Secondary Education. I have exhibited work nationally and create contemporary textile art and sustainable sculptural pieces.
I am Artist in Residence at St Thomas Primary, Werneth and having worked in numerous schools and community groups in the Oldham and Manchester area for the past 7 years I have taught across all age and ability groups.
I am a trained Arts Award Advisor and have led successful Arts Council and local authority funded projects. I also have a close working relationship with Gallery Oldham and can plan and lead independent school visits. Workshops can be tailored to learners’ specific needs and include provision of all resources and planning. All workshops are bespoke and therefore made suitable for complete beginners or those with advanced skills. With the emphasis on each student's needs, all workshops are delivered over a number of weeks in a structured yet flexible way, so everyone works at their own pace in a friendly and supportive environment.

Young Person Comments:
This is a great opportunity for anybody at all because this sounds fun and great entertainment. Activity 1 sounds really interesting and productive with also on the side of it a life lesson/skill of machine stitching.
This meets good pledges and will benefit anybody who gets involved.
