Fullcircle nw is a Community Interest Company based in Oldham. The company directors (Dawn Fox and Rebecca West) have worked in the Youth & Community Industry for over 18 years. We have a proven record of accomplishment and an excellent reputation for delivering innovative, professional, responsive, and effective services in local neighbourhoods, which reflect the needs of the community
Fullcircle specialise in three areas of work; community development, children and young people and alternate provision.
We provide tailored, specific programmes for local schools; we will work on specific issues and the needs of the young people, which help to address attendance and attainment problems, provide opportunities, support and encouragement.
Our programmes provide individual learning opportunities for personal development, to encourage young people to learn new skills and/or to develop existing skills. We offer a range of programmes; which have a primary focus, specific learning objectives and outcomes, and which develop young people’s ability to work with others.
We specialise in developing young people’s interest in community issues, we provide support and encourage young people to share their views and ideas.
We prepare young people for the transition into adulthood; provide direction and steer young people on the path to success, we enable young people to reach their full potential by providing activities that develop their resilience and the social and emotional skills they need for life. We encourage young people to take control of their lives, help them to learn about themselves and reflect on their own experiences; the positives and negative and the choices they make.
Young person views:
The opportunity of afterschool clubs and lunch time enrichment activities are in agreement with the opportunity area offer, the activities on offer would give young people the chance to learn new skills, build on confidence and be healthy and fit all in a controlled and fun environment.
The money sense sessions are good value for money and will enable young people to have more financial knowledge for the future, including the value of money and how to budget effectively.
These activities meet a good range of the pledges and essential life skills and are good long term projects.
Provider of testimonial and role: Mr A.J. Laskey - Executive Headteacher - St Thomas’ Moorside C.E (V.A.) Primary School (14th March 2018)
“Fullcircle have been working with children in our school since 2013. They have provided after school clubs and holidays sessions in arts and crafts, games, sports and gardening.
We have found them to be organised, professional and reliable. They have appropriate and robust safeguarding systems in place and communicate effectively with staff, children and parents. The quality of their service to school has been excellent.
I am certain you will find them an effective provider”.
